A message from Haiti

Kip Hamby   -

It is always a real treat to receive a video from one of our global partners.  Jean Jean and Kristie sent us some very brief but helpful videos that will catch us up on their lives and ministry.  We have included a fuller introduction from the Ryken’s, who serve as our Haiti Focus Field champions.  What an amazing work God is doing through our friends and partners!

From  Jim and Marcy Ryken:

Jean Jean and Kristie Mompremier have been serving in Haiti since 2005 in the rural community where Jean Jean grew up.  They began by first ministering to lay pastors in small churches. Over the years God has grown their ministry to include agriculture, theology, a medical clinic, community development and elementary through university education.  The ministry, United Christians International(UCI), is a beautiful example of how God and the gospel can transform lives and communities.

UCI is one of the international ministries supported by Christ Community Church.  In the last 8 years Christ Community has been able to send 10 teams, dozens of individuals, and thousands of Christmas gifts to support our partners.  Right now, we would love for you to participate in the 2020 Haiti Children’s Christmas Project by signing up here.

Our family’s first trip to Haiti was in 2012, where we felt God calling us to get involved.  We love leading multi-generational teams and families on short-term missions trips to serve alongside Jean Jean and Kristie. Jean and Kristie recently shared an update on what God is doing in Haiti through a virtual interview.  Enjoy!

A TIMELY REMINDER
