An Introduction to our next Lead Pastor | Kyle Bartholic
Dear Christ Community:
I am looking forward to the opportunity to serve as the next Lead Pastor at Christ Community Church. Many of you know me, and for some, we’ve served in ministry together. From the beginning, I have always desired to serve the church well, and over the last fifteen years, God has graciously allowed me to serve in various cities and contexts. This adventure into ministry started in 2004 by overseeing 6th-grade boys’ discipleship in a multi-campus suburban Chicago church. Getting a front-row seat to watch the power of the Gospel come to fruition in the lives of adults, students, and their peers, parents, and the lives of leaders has been a humbling and exciting endeavor. The power of the Gospel is the foundation of our faith and is lived out through the local church’s life and ministry.
As any leader will tell you, the road over these years has had its ups and downs. We can all testify to this truth in our own lives. While we are growing in likeness with Jesus; certainly, we have not arrived at completion yet! What a good and gracious Father we have. He is patient with us personally as we grow on our own and patient with us as a body as we grow corporately. We, as a body, can give testimony to this truth. God has worked mightily and patiently in us and through us. And, he yearns to keep working in this next season. The opportunity to continue following Jesus as a church into a healthy disciple-making future is an exciting prospect! My heart is for lost people to be saved, saved people to be pastored, pastored people to be in the harvest field, and harvest workers bearing eternal fruit. The church faces an increasing headwind, but the Gospel will prevail, and I am eager to labor in that work with you.
Trusting the Lord with you,
Kyle Bartholic
