Giving Update | December 2022
During this season of giving and thanks, we want to take a moment to reflect upon the faithful giving of this church body through the years.
Because of your giving to our ministry budget we have:
- Welcomed 20,000 guests to The Perfect Gift over the course of 13 years; sharing the birth of our Savior with this community.
- Packaged over 800,000 meals to send to global partners in Haiti, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe.
- Through Upward Sports we have trained 5,000 young people in Football, Cheer, and Basketball while sharing the gospel and love of Jesus with athletes each week.
- As ministry partners with NAVS and International student ministry leaders we have hosted and resourced movements reaching the next generation and the world.
- And we’ve kept the lights on, the coffee warm, and paid our staff, so we could Gather, Connect, and Serve week after week.
All of that wouldn’t have been possible without God’s vision on the hearts of our leadership over 20 years ago to purchase this land, build the Plex, and eventually move our congregation here. You see, this 55,000-square-foot building is so much more than just a building. It’s a means for us to accomplish our mission of connecting people to life-defining relationships in Christ. Over the past 22 years your giving to this land and this building – beyond our annual budget – has come to over 12 Million dollars.

Thank you for believing in the vision of placing a building in the middle of a cornfield, for giving above and beyond to our building fund, and for sharing your time and talents to our mission. But our work here isn’t done; this community still needs Jesus, they need to feel His love through our people and be warmly welcomed into our doors.
