Serve News…
Fall housewarming was an incredible success this year! Specifically for Needle Crafting For Others, they were able to distribute 194 hand-crafted projects to agencies throughout Story County through this initiative! The heart in creating these hand-crafted items is to provide the group an opportunity to meet agency needs of blankets, hats, scarves etc before the cold weather began.
Now, NC4O is preparing for the Christmas season. Recently, it was pointed out that there are 14 weekends left before Christmas!! This was a big reminder that the time of the annual giving of NC4O projects that share the love of Jesus during the Christmas season is coming up so soon! Currently, they have 91 projects completed for this initiative. However, they normally try to give 200, so there is room for you to help! They are low on hats, scarves, and mittens. If you are interested in participating or contributing to meet the needs of various agencies this season, join an NC4O meeting and start creating! They meet the first and third Tuesday of the month from 1:30pm until 3pm and again from 6:30pm until 8pm.
