Hebrews 13:16, “Do not neglect to do good and share what you have, for such sacrifices are always pleasing to God.”

Have you considered joining the Merry Christmas Ames initiative in blessing people and friends in need in our community during the 2023 Christmas season? This year, the best ways to help is by purchasing gift cards for clients at The Bridge Home & other agencies, sponsoring purchasing Christmas gifts with a monetary donation ($20/gift), or by purchasing specific gifts for a resident at Mainstream Living Ames or Friendship Ark. Are you interested in what the needs of each agency we support are? Click here and see the list of needs by each agency. Please note that if you choose to purchase specific gifts for a friend at Friendship Ark or at Mainstream Living, Debbie will get back to you with more information soon. You can drop off your Christmas gift or monetary donations at the “Merry Christmas Ames” kiosk on December 10 or December 17. Or you can drop them off at the Christ Community church office Monday-Thursday! Contact Debbie Johnson at djfjohnson54@gmail.com with any questions. Together, let’s make sure that people and families in Ames, who otherwise might not be, are blessed with a Christmas gift this year!
