Christmas Eve
Every year, on December 24th, the church gathers to celebrate the miracle of the Incarnation – God made flesh through the birth of Jesus, the Savior of the world. Just when all hope seemed lost and His people wondered if He would ever speak again, God sent the Word. This good news is deeply relevant for us today. When the night seems darkest, His light is dawning.
This Christmas Eve falls on a Tuesday. Christ Community will celebrate the Advent of Jesus’ birth with three candlelight services in Gather 1 at 1 pm, 3 pm, and 5 pm. Our 3 pm service will be streamed as well. We will provide childcare at the 3 pm services for ages 0-3 years. Parents are encouraged to register in advance for childcare here.
Our services will include beautiful praise, powerful creative elements, timely teaching, and candle lighting. Come, gather with us and celebrate the advent of the Savior of the world.
Please note our only streamed service for 12/24 is 3pm. Thanks for celebrating with us!
Christmas Morning
Christmas morning is just around the corner. Are you getting ready? Or, maybe you have been prepared for weeks now. Each of us has different traditions for Christmas morning. Some get up early, and others sleep in. Some start with a big breakfast, and others snack throughout the day. Some tear into the presents and others take their time. All of those traditions are good, but do you have the tradition of focusing on Jesus on Christmas morning? Do you spend time intentionally remembering that the greatest gift was not wrapped in paper but was laid in a manger? Once again, this year, we have a special opportunity for you and your family!
On Christmas morning, we will release a special video for you to watch with those gathered in your home. It will feature a new worship song written by our church and teaching focused on the promises of God fulfilled in the birth of Christ. We invite you to use this video to have a conversation with your family about the importance of Christmas. Our prayer is that it will help encourage and reorient our hearts in this busy but important season.
